Derry Haws was born in Bronxville, New York, and has traveled the world since childhood, receiving her education in New York, Milan, Madrid, the Swiss Alps, London, and Surrey. With over 30 years of experience in the film, television, and music industries—including training at the BBC— and working with Music Legends such as Freddie Mercury, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger in many Rock Videos of the 1980's and David Bowie's make-up artist on Labyrinth.. Derry brings a unique blend of creativity and professionalism to her work.

Since 2004, she has helped clients buy, sell, and rent properties across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia through her successful referral business.
